Seedling Tray
Durable, reusable 11×21" seed tray built for hobby gardeners and commercial growers — optimized for seed starting, microgreens, propagation and hydroponics.
Uses
Versatile across smallscale and commercial growing operations:
- Seed germination for vegetables, herbs and flowers
- Growing microgreens, wheatgrass and sprouts
- Rooting cuttings and raising seedlings for transplant
- Hydroponic or soilless systems (with appropriate inserts)
- Temporary pot and cell transportation on benches or in trays
Care
Proper care extends service life and keeps plants healthy:
- Clean after each use with mild soap and warm water to remove organic residue.
- Sanitize periodically with a diluted bleach solution (1:9 bleach to water), rinse thoroughly and air dry.
- Store stacked in a cool, dry, shaded area to avoid warping or UV degradation.
- Avoid placing extremely heavy loads or using sharp tools directly on the tray surface.
Advantages
- Reusability: Designed for multiple seasons, reducing recurring costs.
- Standard sizing: 11×21" fits greenhouse benches, shelving and commercial racks.
- Versatility: Works for soil, coco, soil blocks and hydroponic inserts.
- Efficient watering: Compatible with bottom?watering methods to reduce overwatering.
- Uniform growth: Provides consistent micro?environments that improve germination rates.
How to Use
- Preparation: Clean and dry the tray before use. If desired, line with a propagation mat or place cell inserts.
- Fill with medium: Add seed starting mix, coco coir or hydroponic substrate. Level the surface gently.
- Sow seeds: Sow seeds evenly or according to the seed packet spacing. Lightly press seeds into the medium if required.
- Water carefully: Mist the surface or use bottom?watering to moisten the medium without displacing seeds.
- Provide light & warmth: Place under grow lights or in a bright warm spot (or use a humidity dome) until germination.
- Monitor & thin: Keep medium moist, provide ventilation and thin seedlings when they develop true leaves.
- Transplant or harvest: When seedlings are sturdy, transplant into larger pots or transplant to the field. For microgreens, harvest at the recommended stage.
